The JURNAL JPSD (Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar) is an international journal that discusses teachers, teaching, and/or elementary school teacher education situated in an international perspective and context. This journal focuses on elementary school education, teacher preparation, teacher professional development, and/or elementary school teacher education. JPSD Journal (Jurnal Pendidikan Pendidikan Dasar) is a multidisciplinary journal committed to no single approach, discipline, methodology, or paradigm. This journal welcomes a variety of approaches (qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods) to empirical research; also publishes high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Manuscripts should enhance, build on, and/or expand the boundaries of theory, research, and/or practice in primary school teacher teaching and education. JPSD Journal does not publish unsolicited Book Reviews.

The journal invites original, significant, and rigorous inquiry into all subjects within or across disciplines related to elementary teacher education. It encourages debate and cross-disciplinary exchange across a broad range of approaches. The spectrum of topics includes:

  • Elementary Education Studies
  • Elementary Education Curriculum
  • Teacher Professional Development

These topics are addressed in full-length academic articles, critical statements on current issues, and the developmental practice of primary school teacher education.

The journal presents an innovative platform for researchers, students, practitioners, and educators to learn from and contribute to the field. All articles are subject to initial Editor screening and then a rigorous double-blind peer-review process before publication.

Accreditation Results for Scientific Journals in the First Period of 2023

 

According to the Decree issued by the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Decree No. 79/E/KPT/2023), which pertains to the Accreditation Rating of Scientific Journals for the first period of 2023, the JOURNAL JPSD (Journal of Elementary School Education) has obtained accreditation of Rank 3. This accreditation is valid from Volume 8, Number 1 of 2021, to Volume 12, Number 2 of 2025. To view the accreditation results, please download the attached documents.

The JPSD Journal's Most Recent Frequency Schedule

 

The JURNAL JPSD (Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar) is an international journal that discusses teachers, teaching, and/or elementary school teacher education situated in an international perspective and context.
Starting in 2022 (Vol 9), the JURNAL JPSD (Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar) will change the template to the latest version, and the frequency of its newest edition will be published every May and November, and all papers will be published in English.

Forthcoming publication schedules that are still open for submission are

Vol 9. No. 1 and 2, Publish in May, and November 2022, and Other forthcoming issues.
