Jurnal Hukum Novelty is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. This journal is published two times a year in April and October. Jurnal Hukum Novelty offers instantaneous open access to its content in order to make research easily available to the public so it will support a wide exchange of knowledge.

The aim of this journal is to offer a venue for academicians, researchers, and practitioners for publishing their original research articles or review articles. The scope of the articles published in this journal deals with a broad range of topics in the fields of Criminal Law, Civil Law, International Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Islamic Law, Economic Law, Medical Law, Adat Law, Environmental Law, and another section related to contemporary issues in law or interconnection study with Legal Studies in accordance with the principle of novelty. 

This journal has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Second Grade (Sinta 2) since Volume 10 Number 2, 2019 to Volume 15 Number 2, 2024 according to the decree No. B/4130/E5/E5.2.1/2019.
