Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir seringkali memiliki Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) yang cenderung rendah. Sementara CDMSE penting bagi mahasiswa, khususnya di tingkat akhir karena dapat berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan diri individu dalam mencapai karirnya di masa depan. Salah satu faktor yang dianggap memiliki kaitan dengan CDMSE adalah Peer Support. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara peer support dan CDMSE pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 401 mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Kota/Kabupaten Malang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu incidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala peer support yang terdiri dari 17 item (α=0,896) dan skala career decision making self-efficacy menggunakan Career Decision Making Self Efficacy-Short Form terdiri dari 25 item (α=0,945). Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara peer support dengan seluruh dimensi CDMSE pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi peer support maka akan semakin tinggi CDMSE pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, begitu pula sebaliknya.
