PENGEMBANGAN DAN UJICOBA KOLEKTOR SURYA SEBAGAI ALAT PRAKTIKUM FISIKA TENTANG KONSEP KALOR DI SMA KELAS X

Telah dirancang, dikembangkan dan diujicoba kolektor surya sebagai alat praktikum tentang konsep kalor untuk
siswa SMA jurusan IPA kelas X. Kolektor surya tipe plat datar model serpentin dibuat sebanyak empat buah
dengan spesifikasi yang sama, kemudian dilakukan uji fisik dan uji kelayakan penggunaan kolektor surya
sebagai alat praktikum. Pengujian fisik dilakukan dengan pengamatan suhu air masukan dan suhu air keluaran
selama tiga hari, dan hasilnya dirata-rata. Untuk uji kelayakan penggunaan kolektor di kelas sebagai alat
praktikum, dilakukan ujicoba praktikum, kemudian diberikan angket yang diisi oleh dua orang guru Fisika dan
12 siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Purworejo, Jawa Tengah, sehingga diperoleh nilai persentase kelayakan
dalam skala 0 – 100 %. Pada uji fisik alat terbukti bahwa kolektor surya tersebut berfungsi dengan baik. Dari
hasil angket uji kelayakan penggunaan alat peraga oleh guru Fisika dan oleh siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa
kolektor surya sangat layak digunakan sebagai alat praktikum fisika.
