Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor)
  • Scientific article do not contain substances of plagiarism. Articles submitted has never been published and not under consideration for publication in another journal or proceedings either in print or digital.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format. Conform to the standard of the BFI-JIFPA template, and the text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

    The length of the submitted paper is at least 4 pages and no more than 12 pages. Editors will evaluate if a paper is needing more than 12 pages

  • References expect a minimum of 15 references primarily with a minimum of 80% to journal papers. It used a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and have chosen the APA style edition 7th.

    If it is available, URL for the references please to be included and be ascertained in inaccessible conditions.

  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • If the author requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript when the manuscript is still in the peer-reviewing process, the author will be punished as the withdrawal penalty to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Journal Berkala Fisika Indonesia must be

  1. Written in Indonesian or English.
  2. The author name should be accompanied by a complete affiliation address and corresponding email.
  3. The length of the submitted paper is at least 4 pages and no more than 12 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 12 pages.
  4. Use a tool such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA 7th style
  5. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the BFI-JIFPA paper template

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of paper typing in sentence case, without Acronym or abbreviation, case study
  2. Abstract. Written briefly in English and Indonesian in one paragraph of 150-200 WORDSNo citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes and results, and the conclusion.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion - Acknowledgement - References
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 15 references with minimum 80% references primarily.
