PARADOKS SI KEMBAR DALAM TEORI RELATIVITAS KHUSUS SEBAGAI MATERI PENGAYAAN FISIKA DI SMA

Tulisan ini mengkaji ulang berbagai upaya penjelasan tentang paradoks si kembar dalam teori relativitas khusus. Didapatkan banyak penjelasan tentang paradoks kembar, di antaranya adalah penjelasan menggunakan efek Doppler, ruang-waktu Minkowski, metode dinamika Lagrange, diagram Brehme, kontraksi panjang, dan tinjauan kerangka inersial. Dari berbagai penjelasan itu, kemudian dipilih tiga enjelasan tentang paradoks si kembar yang mungkin untuk diberikan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) sebagai materi pengayaan pada topik teori relativitas khusus, yaitu dengan pendekatan kontraksi panjang, kerangka inersial, dan efek Doppler.
