Anxiety can affect the achievement of learning objectives because it can hinder students while learning. Anxiety levels are divided into 4 namely low, medium, high anxiety, and panic. The purpose of this study was to determine students' anxiety in solving flat shapes problems. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. This study will describe how students' anxiety in solving flat shape problems. The subjects of this study were 4 students consisting of 2 students in the high anxiety level category and 2 students in the panic anxiety level category. The results of this study indicate that students who have a high level of anxiety in solving problems have not been able to carry out plans properly because the procedure for solving the subject is not clear. The ability to understand the subject's problem of panic level anxiety is still not good because the subject is wrong in writing down what is known in the problem.References
