PELATIHAN REGULASI EMOSI UNTUK MENURUNKAN PERILAKU AGRESIF PADA ANAK

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada perilaku agresif anak masa sekolah dasar, dan upaya mengatasi perilaku agresif. Penelitian menggunakan pelatihan regulasi emosi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pelatihan regulasi emosi terhadap perilaku agresif pada anak masa sekolah. Hipotesis yang ditujukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan regulasi emosi berpengaruh untuk menurunkan perilaku agresif pada anak masa sekolah kelas V SD yang berusia 10 tahun. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Single Case Experimental Design dengan model A-B with single target measure and follow up. Subjek penelitian berjumlah dua orang siswa sekolah dasar berusia 10 tahun yang berperilaku agresif. Pelatihan regulasi emosi dilakukan selama lima sesi berturut-turut, dan dilakukan observasi perilaku pada saat enam hari sebelum pelatihan (tahap A), enam hari sesudah pelatihan (tahap B) dan empat hari pada follow-up. Hasil observasi dianalisis dengan teknik visual inspection menggunakan grafik, dan menunjukkan ada penurunan perilaku agresif subjek pada tahap B yaitu setelah diberikan pelatihan regulasi emosi. Hasil yang didapatkan memperlihatkan bahwa pelatihan regulasi emosi dapat menurunkan perilaku agresif pada anak masa sekolah yang sesuai dengan kriteria subjek.
