EFEK PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK TERBIMBING TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES DAN SIKAP SAINS SISWA

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis perkembangan keterampilan proses dan sikap sains siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek secara terbimbing, dengan populasi penelitian seluruh siswa SMP 1 Paninggaran, Kab. Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah sebanyak 503 orang. Siswa ditugaskan untuk merealisasikan bel listrik sederhana, rangkaian arus seri-paralel, dan tuas. Penguatan kognitif dilakukan melalui diskusi kelompok, pembuatan peta konsep, ekspositori guru di kelas, dan kegiatan eksperimen laboratorium. Data diambil melalui pretest, post test, observasi partisipatif oleh dua orang observer, penilaian produk, peta konsep dan laporan kegiatan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan kemampuan analisissintesis dan keterampilan proses sains dengan tingkat motivasi 0,77 (tinggi) dan sikap sains 0,80 (tinggi). Disarankan bagi guru untuk mengembangkan model-model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan sikap sains sejak pendidikan dasar.
