This study was conducted to analyze the construct validity of the self-determination scale in adolescents. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design as a research method. The sample of the study was 102 junior high school students in Bandung, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using the Rasch Model assisted by Winstep software version 3.73. Analysis of the results of the self-determination instrument through the Rasch model was analyzed based on aspects of unidimensionality, item analysis (item difficulty level and item suitability level), diagnostic rating scale and instrument analysis. The results of the study stated that the instrument developed had been tested for validity and reliability so that it could be used as a measuring tool to measure self-determination abilities in adolescents.
