Abstract

Meningkatnya kegiatan yang terjadi pada rumah sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, menyebabkan data operasionalnya mengalami penurunan dalam hal penyampaian informasi kepada  pasien sehingga data tersebut kurang informatif, yang mana data tersebut berhubungan dengan informasi kamar dan informasi pasien yang sedang rawat inap. Penerapan komputer sebagai pengolah data akan sangat membantu kinerja rumah sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk membangun Aplikasi Managemen Ruang Pasien Rawat Inap pada RS PKU Muhammadiyah dengan Teknologi Java diawali dengan pengumpulan data mengenai ruangan rawat inap, analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan, implementasi dan pengujian sistem dengan black box test, dan alpha test.

Dari penelitian yang dilakukan menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi tentang “Managemen Ruang Pasien Rawat Inap pada RS PKU Muhammadiyah dengan Teknologi Java†yang dapat digunakan untuk mengakses informasi ruangan rawat inap dan pasien rawat inap. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini telah diuji coba di rumah sakit.
