PROFIL HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIAKAN MASALAH ARITMATIKA SOSIAL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetaui Profil Higher Order Thinking Skill Siswa Dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Aritmatika Sosial. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siswa. Subjek ditentukan berdasarkan kemampuan matematika yang diperoleh melaluli nilai raport dan atas rekomendasi guru matematika. Kemampuan matematika ketiga subjek yang dipilih berbeda satu dengan yang lain yakni subjek berkemampuan matematika tinggi, subjek berkemampuan matematika sedang dan subjek berkemampuan matematika rendah. Data diperoleh melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara semiterstruktur terhadap setiap subjek untuk memperoleh data yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa subjek berkemampuan matematika tinggi mencapai HOTS pada tahap menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan mencipta. Sedangkan subjek berkemampuan matematika sedang dan rendah belum mampu mencapai HOTS baik pada tahap menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan mencipta.
