Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat p-ISSN: 1978-0575 and e-ISSN: 2620-2999, is an open access and peer-reviewed journal that published empirical quantitative research and/or qualitative research on the epidemiology, biostatistics, nutrition, family health, climate change, infectious and non-infectious diseases, health services research, gerontology, child health, adolescent health, behavioral medicine, rural health, health promotion, public health policy and management, health economics, occupational health and environmental health and the understanding of all aspects of public health. Submitted papers must be written in Indonesian and/or English for initial review stage by editors and further process by minimum two reviewers. This journal is had been indexing on Google Scholar, Crossref, Indonesian Publication Index (IPI), Portal Garuda, DOAJ (resubmit), and Index Copernicus. This journal is now ACCREDITED (recognised) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI, Decree No: 21/E/KPT/2018).

 

Information of Journal Name Change

Started from March 2020 edition (Vol 14 No 1 2020), the name of Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat was changed to Disease Prevention and Public Health Journal (DPPHJ) and the website was moved to the new website (http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/dpphj). Therefore, Authors who will submit new manuscripts should register in the new website.

Meanwhile, the previous editions (up to 2019 edition) will still use Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat as the title and could be accessed in the old website (http://journal.uad.ac.id/index.php/KesMas/index).

 

Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat invites original articles and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Papers for publication in the journal are selected through precise peer-review to ensure quality, originality, appropriateness, significance, and readability.

History the Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat 

Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat published since 2007. The journal was published three times per year (January, June, and September) with p-ISSN 1975-0575, while in 2013, we decided to improve quality of article with changing a number of issue from three issues a year (January, March, and September) to twice issues (March and September).

Since September 2009, Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat use Open Journal System with url http://www.journal.uad.ac.id/index.php/KesMas.

Considering our publication, we had several mistakes about the different name of this journal template with the LIPI issued journal’s name. Firstly, in 2009 until 2015, we used KES MAS only for the name of this journal. Then, in 2016 we used Kes Mas: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat that still has been a little distinguish with LIPI issued journal’s name. We evaluate our management including rechecking the true name journal that LIPI issued with. Starting in 2017 we use Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat for this journal's template until now.

In 2018, Kes Mas: Jurnal Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat is completed with p-ISSN: 1978-0575 and e-ISSN: 2620-2999
