The effect of outdoor learning model on improving cognitive ability in entrepreneurial learning at the field of electricity

Abstract



This study aims to determine the quality of entrepreneurial learning outcomes and their effectiveness by using an outdoor learning model for electricity power expertise students in Vocational High School. The study was conducted using a quasi-experimental approach with methods of pretest-posttest control group design. Subjects consisted of students of class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 2 Medan used as experimental class and control class. The research instrument was a test. The analysis was performed with the t-test and Gain N-score. The results of this study showed that: (1) The quality of student learning output with learning outdoor models increased significantly (0,04 < 0,05); (2) Entrepreneurial learning with learning outdoor models effectively to improve student learning outcomes with the acquisition value of the N-gain score of 56.2%.
