Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of the ADJES (Ahmad Dahlan Journal of English Studies) must be

  1. Written in English.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 5000 words.
  3. Use a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA Style
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the ADJES paper template. 

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be qualified and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper should describe research aims, method/model, and objective, without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has a maximum of 250 WORDSNo citation; State in the abstract a primary goalresearch designmethodologymain outcomes and results, and the conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion - Conclusion
  • Introduction; The introduction should set the study in context by briefly reviewing relevant knowledge of the subject; follow this with a concise statement of the study's objectives.
  • Method; A brief description of the methods/techniques used (these methods' principles should not be described if readers can be directed to easily accessible references or standard texts).
  • Results and Discussion; A clear presentation of experimental results obtained, highlighting any trends or points of interest. The results should not be repeated in both tables and figures. The discussion should relate to the significance of the observations.
  • Conclusion; A brief explanation of the significance and implications of the work reported.
  • Acknowledgments; Any individuals who contributed to the manuscript but do not meet the authorship's necessary criteria should be acknowledged. Acknowledgments should be limited to those who helped extensively, such as providing statistical help, essential equipment, or translating references.
4. References. Expect a minimum of 20 references, primarily with a minimum of 70% to journal papers.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX or RTF) document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the article template, which is found in About the Journal.
 

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish in Ahmad Dahlan Journal of English Studies (ADJES) agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the Ahmad Dahlan Journal of English Studies (ADJES) right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0) that allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) the work for any purpose, even commercially with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in Ahmad Dahlan Journal of English Studies (ADJES).
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Ahmad Dahlan Journal of English Studies (ADJES).
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
ADJES does not charge any submission fees for every article submitted.

Article Publication: 75.00 (IDR)
Since Vol. 8 No.1, 2022 ADJES applies APC of Rp. 750.000 (75 USD) for every article published.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
